קורא היא אפליקציה שמקריאה בקול מסמכים ודפי אינטרנט. היא פועלת על המכשיר שלך, ללא חשבון משתמש וללא שרת משלה. המסמך הזה מתאר בדיוק אילו נתונים מעורבים ולאן הם מגיעים.

מה האפליקציה לא עושה

• אין הרשמה, אין חשבון, אין סיסמה.
• אין שרת של האפליקציה — לא נשלחים אליו נתונים, כי הוא לא קיים.
• אין כלי אנליטיקה, אין מעקב, ואין איסוף של מזהי פרסום.
• תוכן המסמכים שלך לא נשלח לשום מקום.

קבצים שאתה פותח

קובצי PDF,‏ Word,‏ EPUB וטקסט נקראים ומנותחים במכשיר בלבד. תמונות שמחולצות מהם נשמרות באחסון הפרטי של האפליקציה במכשיר, ונמחקות כשנפתחים מסמכים אחרים.

דפי אינטרנט

כשמבקשים לקרוא כתובת, האפליקציה פונה ישירות לאתר הזה כדי להוריד את הדף, בדיוק כפי שדפדפן היה עושה. האתר רואה את הבקשה (כתובת IP, סוג דפדפן). תמונות, סרטונים וקטעי שמע שמוצגים בדף מגיעים מהשרתים של אותו אתר. קורא אינה שולחת את הכתובות האלה לאף גורם אחר.

ההקראה

ההקראה נעשית במנוע הדיבור שמותקן במכשיר (למשל זה של גוגל), ורק בקולות מקומיים — כלומר קולות שהורדו למכשיר ופועלים בלי אינטרנט. הטקסט מועבר למנוע שבמכשיר ואינו נשלח לרשת על ידי האפליקציה.

מה נשמר במכשיר

• רשימת המסמכים האחרונים והמיקום שהגעת אליו בכל אחד.
• העדפות: מהירות הקראה, נעילת מסך בזמן הקראה.
• מונים פנימיים שקובעים מתי להציג בקשת דירוג (כמה מסמכים נפתחו ומתי נשאלת).

כל אלה נשמרים באחסון הפרטי של האפליקציה ואינם עוזבים את המכשיר. מחיקת האפליקציה מוחקת אותם.

קובצי שמע שאתה מייצא

כשמייצאים מסמך לקובץ שמע, הקובץ נוצר במכשיר ונשמר במקום שאתה בוחר. הוא אינו נשלח לשום מקום.

הרשאות

• אינטרנט — להורדת דפים שביקשת לקרוא.
• התראות — לשליטה בהקראה ממסך הנעילה.
• מניעת כיבוי מסך — רק כשבחרת להשאיר את המסך דלוק בזמן הקראה.

ילדים

האפליקציה אינה מיועדת לילדים מתחת לגיל 13 ואינה אוספת מהם מידע.

שינויים

אם תתווסף בעתיד יכולת שמשנה את התמונה — למשל פרסומות, שמחייבות שימוש במזהה פרסום — המסמך הזה יעודכן לפני שהיא תצא לאוויר, והתאריך למעלה ישתנה בהתאם.

Kore reads documents and web pages aloud. It runs on your device, has no user account and no server of its own. This page describes exactly what data is involved and where it goes.

What the app does not do

• No sign-up, no account, no password.
• No server of ours — nothing is sent to one, because there isn't one.
• No analytics, no tracking, no advertising identifiers.
• The contents of your documents are never transmitted anywhere.

Files you open

PDF, Word, EPUB and text files are read and parsed entirely on the device. Pictures extracted from them are cached in the app's private storage and removed as other documents are opened.

Web pages

When you ask for a web address, the app fetches that page directly from that site, exactly as a browser would. The site sees the request (IP address, user agent). Images, video and audio shown on the page are loaded from that site's own servers. Kore does not share the addresses you read with anyone.

Speech

Reading aloud uses the text-to-speech engine installed on your device, and only local voices — voices downloaded to the phone that work without a network. The text is handed to that on-device engine; the app does not send it over the internet.

Stored on your device

• Recently opened documents and your position in each.
• Preferences: reading speed, keeping the screen awake while reading.
• Counters that decide when to ask how the app is doing.

All of this lives in the app's private storage and never leaves the device. Uninstalling the app deletes it.

Audio files you export

When you export a document as audio, the file is produced on the device and saved where you choose. It is not uploaded anywhere.

Permissions

• Internet — to fetch the pages you ask to read.
• Notifications — playback controls on the lock screen.
• Wake lock — only when you choose to keep the screen on while reading.

Children

The app is not directed at children under 13 and collects no information from them.

Changes

If a future feature changes this picture — advertising, for example, which requires an advertising identifier — this page will be updated before that feature ships, and the date above will change with it.
